Hi. If someone wants to start an alternate group with a different logo, that's dandy. If someone wants to take over full maintainership of linuxchix, you're more than welcome to choose a new logo. I've been trying to find a new maintainer for the project for, oh, a year now on-and-off, and no one has stepped forward. I have neither the time nor energy to do anything drastic with the project (such as, say, change the logo), and if someone doesn't step forward before the domain expires (Feb 2002), it will expire and the project will simply vanish. All you need to do is tell me what DNS servers will be acting as host for the new site, and I'll change the domain record ASAP. You'll also want to set up a couple of mailing lists (grrltalk, techtalk, issues, jobposts, announce), and we'll make sure that people know they have to subscribe to the new lists. Let me know. Also: I'm on the mailing lists in digest-mode only, and, to be honest, don't have the time to read it all.
