Hi,
I'm a proud (new) user of baclua 2.0.3 on linux with an LTO1 drive.
It seems to work well, however the tape drive keeps powering up and

Unfortunately it does it several times per hour.
No jobs are running.

I don't know if this feature ever exists.
When a volume becomes full, bacula tell me to put another volume (so tape)
in tape drive. OK
So, in bconsole, i do "unmount" and after, i must eject the tape by staying
out of bconsole (with mt -f /dev/tape eject)

For us, we haven't had a lot of time to add back to Bacula. I have a student
that is working to produce a web front end for restores, but it has been
quite a challenge. I'd really like to have an API that we could hook into
the director directly, but I haven't had the time to even look at it since

Hello all,
I am having problems with Bacula v2.0.3 on a Solaris 9 and a Qualstar
8236 LTO-2 Tape library. Before I upgraded to 2.0.x I was running
1.38.11 without a problems.
Today I had three jobs fail because bacula could not find any appendable
media. Here is the first job to fail:

Hello,
I have yet another problem to solve. I didn't find similar case in
documentation.
I have two separate systems in two locations (let's say "site1" and
"site2"). In "site1" I have local DDS5 drive and TS3310 library. In
"site2" server is only equiped with DDS5. Also, "Site1" is accesible
Just wanted to say that found the solution for my problem. The changer
has also a generic scsi device associated - /dev/sg5, so no only
configuration changes were needed. Hope it could be useful for someone.
This also means that (probably) TS3310 library is fully supported by
bacula. Have to ve

Hello,
I'm trying to build bacula-2.0*.deb for Ubuntu with French support. I've

My question is, where must I put those lines to generate French ubuntu

I have been using Bacula for the past two years with a tape changer, and no

I am now wanting to try something different, and send my incremental backups to
a remote bacula-sd using FileStorage, while keeping my full backups going to the

My problem is that I would like to com

Open Source is a fantastic success story, and shows every sign of becoming a

Hi,
Do you have any form of autochanger (be it virtual or otherwise) configured in
your setup?
I believe this field is only relevent if Bacula is configured to use an
Autochanger, something that's not necessary if your just writing volumes to
disk. (But can be used if you are writing them to r
