Although the link did not work for me I see you are looking at the              
Sony AIT Turbo i100S.

I am not sure about its operation but I do have one comment. DO NOT
believe that you will get 2.6:1 compression with this or any other
tape drive when you make your comparison.  This is really a 40GB tape
drive. Depending on your data it is more likely that you get around
1.5:1 making this drive fit 60GB on a single tape and not 104 as Sony
claims.
