Well, technically, it's a 450b Retro.---- Original Message ----From: "Sam

Fresnel issue and other limitations. 450 and 450 retro SM's with reflector
dishes still do a solid job for us here in NM.On Mon, Nov 25, 2024 at 3:44?PM

[AFMUG] removal of WISP equipment?Because a new 450 SM is $280. A perfectly
good used radio is free for redeployment. We have a recovery list that the
installers reference when they are in the area and swing by and pick up the
radio and dish. We leave the mast and cable as it's now considered part of the
house. It makes good business sense. Now 450b's can rot in hell as far as I
care.?On Wed, Nov 20, 2024 at 11:25?AM Josh Luthman

"pickups" and it would be filler work for the field people. They'd remove the

them pretty quick because we left empty spaces in the schedule for service
calls, and if there were no service calls we'd go do pickups.???On Mon, Nov 18,

[AFMUG] removal of WISP equipment ?We are starting to run into cases where
customers cancel (most commonly to get T-Mobile Home Internet) and while the
CPE is still perfectly functional we would not redeploy it.? Like a Cambium 450
SM with a reflector dish (as opposed to a 450b).? So we don?t want it back, and
don?t want to send a tech out to remove it.?Sometimes customers insist they
want us to take it off their house.? Is there some legal obligation for us to
do this?? I think if you discontinue DISH or DirecTV and want the sat dish
taken down, they don?t come do it (unless maybe you pay to have it done).-- AF
