The wideband 4.9-5.9Ghz antenna on the 450b was tuned for peak gain around 5.4ghz, and it had about 3dB less gain in 5725-5850 Mhz than a 450d despite the similar antenna dimensions. We liked the 450d a lot because it had good gain in the primary band we were running our APs in, and it could be easily pole mounted on a rohn h20-50 unlike a KP reflector.
