You should use SPEWS if you want to participate in the bullying of "the

SPEWS sucks. If there's a such thing as "non-violent terrorism*", SPEWS
is its poster child.

(* and I'm not one who jumps on that cliched post-911 bandwagon -- it's terrorism precisely because it uses the same pattern of harming individual bystanders as a means to motivating a larger authority to change its actions.)

If we're going to get snooty about this, can we all agree that by definition a "terrorist" strikes terror? I can't say that SPEWS (or any RBL for that matter) has ever scared a non-paranoid human being.

And, if I recall correctly, the system administrator is responsible for implementing the RBL. The rejection is entirely the responsibility of the admin. He chose the RBL. He chose to reject or tag or score based upon that RBL.

It's a voluntary RBL. If you were rejected, and had legitimate mail, contact the admin. I've white-listed a few valid senders. Conversed via email with a couple of them. One of them actually convinced me to dump one of the RBLs based on logic and intelligent reasoning. None of them lambasted me or called me names or told me that I suck.

As well, for all of you who say the Yahoo or AOL suck because they don't want your mail sent from dial-ups, proxies, residential DSL and cable lines: same answer as the RBL-toting admins mentioned above.

My network, my rules.

Contact the admin, or go cry somewhere else.

This topic is getting so old. We are becoming a society of whiners and lawyers.
