IANAL or an HR person but I had a similar problem when I worked for a cable company. Seems the cable company carried playboy and Spice channels. One of my technicians had a problem being required to view those channels to check picture quality. The headend Techs were REQUIRED to view each and every channel that were transmitted from the headend. It was only for 30-40 seconds twice a day. He (yes it was a he) did not like being exposed to the stuff on those channels. He started making rumblings about going to HR so I went first. Their ruling at the time was that it was part of his job to ensure we produced a quality product for our customers. If it offended him that much they suggested he transfer from the nice Air conditioned Head End out into the field. I never heard the complaint again. YES, this really did happen!! At the time I simply wanted to terminate him for generally being stupid but..... What I do not understand is that most MUA's now a days hide the headers unless you specifically look. If it offends them so much why are they looking at them?? The alternative is to rm the check entirely and allow the spam through. At least then they will have a legit complaint. -- ......Tom Registered Linux User #14522 http://counter.li.org [EMAIL PROTECTED] My current SpamTrap -------> [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
