Having read all the replies re SP6 (a) I guess that I have mistaken SP6 with
SP6a (or at least the problems associated with one of them)
So if SP6a is the fixed SP6 than there probably would not be any problem
using it,
I have had various problems with SP6 (random blue screens) and have had to

Passwords are limited to 8 characters in order to support legacy Unix
platforms on which getpass returns only the first 8 characters typed.

Thanks, for the advice,
Yes I tried SnagIt, as well as I tried CamTasia which is developped by the
same company (TechSmith).
CamTasia is even closer to my needs than SnagIt, since it allows "live"
capture, this means capturing the screen and proposing a Live output. In
fact, it acts like a "soft

Ironically, I did already know this, but forgot at the time as I usually
use regedit data.reg instead. The 'start' command still brings up the
dialog box!
Steve's following answer to use "regedit /s test.reg" is
OK, I've searched the lists, read the FAQs, and lurked on the listsvr for a few
days - still found no clue how to solve this. I can't believe it's not a more
common complaint - I've installed VNC on all 5 machines in my house, and every
single one has the same trouble: every time the machine boo

How can I set a common password for all the machines using a VNC server so the Help

Is WinVNC running when you try to delete it? After starting WinVNC, you
may need to reboot Windows before trying to uninstall it. V
Yes, Winvnc is running but my uninstall procedure stops Winvnc service first
