My problem is tht i have 100mb of rpms from cd1 and cd2 which r installed by default when no single package is selected
oknow i wanna make one bootable /installer cd with these rpms so tht the user no need to selectanything and installation happens automatically

choice between ext2 and SGI's XFS for each filesystem being installed.
This was based on a rawhide Anaconda snapshot a couple of releases ago.
It's working pretty well - would anyone at Red Hat be
since it's impossible for anaconda to support all locales i think it would be
a good idea to add locale_config to the installation.
note: i haven't had a chance to install rawhide lately so i apologize if this
has been implemented.
also, i wish the locale_config had newt and gtk

Is there anyway that I can put the RH6.2 installer in debugging mode
while it is installing? My kickstart fails and it literally just
hangs (completely freezes) while doing a reverse name look up.

I second that motion; more liberal use of try exceptions would make

o More understandable for the end user (ie, you're out of space on the

When you get to the components screen in anaconda the components have
images next to them. Where in the code are these defined. I've edited my
comps file the way I'd like it but I want to know how to add images to
new components if I add them.

I might set up a special entry in /etc/lilo.conf or s special boot floppy that
mounts the ISO image as if it were a CD, and runs it from there.

I didn't know you had to install it. I figured since the src was on the
install cd that it used that one to install RedHat, I was wrong.
