I have been having similiar problems.
I don't get a consistent error but I
consistenly get an error. I got this
all day yesterday.

Example:
File "/usr/bin/anaconda"
line 264 from
image import Install Method
File "/usr/bin/anaconda image.py line 3 ?
from comps import ComponetSet Headers List
from File

File "/usr/lib/anaconda/comps.py
line 7 in ? import urlib
File "/usr/lib/python1.5/urllib.py line 689

basepath,basetag = splittag(basepart
# remove extraneous cruft
Syntax Error invalid token
install exited abnormally

This was on a machine
that was running Sun OS 5.6. After 8 hours,
of these types of errors and trying to do
an ftp install, I abandonded and installed
Sun again with not a problem. Perhaps,
RH is more hardware sensitive.

This looked like a problem that I also saw in 6.1.

Errata noted some Anaconda install bugs, but this
seemed different. This was on retail ($32 ) 6.2
distribution. I've given up.
