I was lucky enough to cycle through the forest of Rambouillet on the 2007
London - Paris Cycle tour. It was lovely with some good rolling climbs.
As I passed the Rambouillet signs, I certainly thought of the folks in Walnut
Creek.

I have a set of the Chrome sneakers. They are thin-soled and a bit like the old
Chuck Taylors from Converse, but have a reinforced sole for cycling.
Not for everyone, but I dig them for both riding and just wearing as sneakers.

I have owned this for several years, but have not worn it very often.
It is bright blue, zippered front, with a white center band. Single zippered
pocket on the back. No rips, no stains. Smoke-free home. I have lost quite a
bit of weight and it is simply too big for me these days.

Campagnolo Front Ergo Shifters are not really indexed. Lots of little clicks
and trimming options.
I haven't tried the ones newer than 2007, but the above is true up until then...

All of this talk has me suddenly worrying about what my many-year old rims with
thousands of miles on them would look like in profile when hack-sawed.
I think this thread might jump start the Christmas Wheelset sales rush.
I, for one, am thinking about it rather seriously.
