Calipers, not levers.

I was thinking of using vintage "normal reach" calipers in the place of the
newer long-reach 55mm ones.

How and why I typed levers twice below is a mystery to me.

Thanks,
Sean

The 2011 arrival of the Grant Peterson Designed Soma San Marcos has me thinking
a bit about a new bike and a build plan.
I mostly have Campagnolo components that I'd like to re-use to build up the
San Marcos frame. I was thinking that it would be nice to use vintage
Campagnolo or Modolo Brake Levers to sort of "match" the other, newer Campag
stuff.

Older Campagnolo Levers seem to have a maximum brake reach of 52mm. Has anyone
on the list
successfully used these on one of the frames that take 55mm reach brakes? I
guess I don't really fancy picking up a pair of Tektros, but I suppose I might
have to.

As always, thanks in advance for your help,

Sean
