I commuted to work today in heavy traffic. The recent time change has it dark for the early part of my ride. I have tail-lights like crazy, but the years have taken their toll and I don't have a headlamp for those first few minutes of the ride before the sun shows its face.
I am thinking of getting through the next few weeks with an improvised headlamp. I have a heavy duty mini MagLite from my days as Rock N Roller and / or Roadie. Has anyone ever mounted one of these gracefully? My goal is to be seen, not to illuminate the pavement. Extra points to someone who can show me how to do it with my John's Irish Strap.
