We recently posted some photos of our double toptube Hillborne, which
then led to a side discussion about Newbaum bar tape.
In fact, Newbaum was kind enough to send us some free samples. We
have a variety of colors available:

One small correction:
As you might have noticed, the bike has Nitto Moustache bars, not

Yes, I think the Nitto Campee racks really complement the Orange
Hillborne well.
Although the placement of the rack mounts don't allow for a perfectly
level rack, it works pretty well and is super solid. The front rack
had to be shimmed a little to keep it from contacting the fork.

the works. While we don't want to go down the "shameless self-
promotion" path, I thought our latest Betty Foy build-up would be of
interest to this group:

One key aspect that has not been mentioned is the social aspect of the
ride.
Keep in mind that this is a non-competitive group ride with lots and
lots of friendly people. If you have any inkling to be social during
the ride, or participate in the small groups that naturally form, you
might miss
that there are only 58cm frames left in the
Speedster. The good news is we will have the identical (except for a
black paint color) Stanyan available next month.
