@CM We used Neubaum cloth tape, which happens to have a very sticky adhesive, and wrapped it as usual. At the end (or rather the center) we then took a little bit of what was left over and used it like you would a piece of tape – did I mention it is really sticky stuff? To top it off, the whole thing got a coat of clear shellac.
