I have ridden this portion of the trail on Panaracer Pasela 32s Non-TG and was
just fine. 5 of us rode from Pittsburgh to DC in 5 days and had nary a flat
among us. Tires ranged from 28mm "touring tires" to lightweight Vittoria
Cyclocross tires.
I think you'll be fine.

Long ago, when I had my dark green Bombadil, I used Newbaum's green tape
(sold by Riv) and amber shellac that I prepared myself. The color was

I tie around the Wald basket and the Nitto mini-rack. That is, where the
