Hi,
Stef and I developed Snapshotcello, a little utility that enables you to freeze
a snapshot of a given configuration based on what is already loaded in your
current image.
The idea is simple. You develop against the latest versions of all packages,
and commit your changes for each package.

Hi,
A new version of Snapshotcello is now reachable from your Pharo 2.0 image.
Besides snapshotting the current version, you now get the possibility of:

The only problem that Norbert raised is that when using Snapshotcello, the
groups are lost due to flattening of the entire configuration.

f := FileSystem disk workingDirectory / 'pharoicon.png'.
f writeStreamDo: [ :stream |
PNGReadWriter
putForm: ThemeIcons current pharoIcon
onStream: stream ].

Thanks! That worked.
What is the difference?

Pharo workflow is best seen in action.
However, I noticed that we do not have much support for demoing what we do.
For example, if you do not record with sound, you want to add notes. I saw
several videos with notes being added to the workspace. This looks cl
Hi Daniela,
Great. Please take a look at the extensions we have for collections in

Perhaps they can be of interest. It would be great to work on integrating
them into Pharo.

Hi,
Yes, these are all points for research. It is these things that can make
Pharo define its own ground and change dramatically the meaning of
programming. There is so much we can do in this space.
If anyone wants to start playing let me know so that we can coordinate.

If you want to install GToolkit (the project that contains GTInspector,
GTPlayground and GTDebugger) in your image, you can follow one of the
options as described here:

This is beautiful, indeed (both the project and the open-source dynamics)
