As Alexei said, we don't need to install Red5 anymore as it is included in the
OpenMeetings 2.0 download. If it is already installed, you can just stop the

Have you checked the OpenMeetings log files ? in /red5/log for
openmeetings.log and red5.log because there are sometimes useful entries
for debugging.

I think port 3306 is not there because of the filters "grep red5" or "grep
java".
Jean-Marie could try "netstat -anp | grep 3306"
