You can use pico with mutt :) I'm using joe to edit my mails because it's
quick, fast and can be tuned to be high powered, but by default, it's easier
than emacs or vi.

I guess you have to check for the language of your environment. It
should be set to fr_FR or something like that. You'll also want to check
