I have installed version 1.6.1.93 of the mjpegtools, but i mostly get
Segmentation fault with "lavrec, lavplay and glav", so i decided to
install version 1.6.0, to see if i still get Segfaults with the older
version. But i get some error message while compiling version 1.6.0:

OK, compiled libquicktime and mjpegtools 1.6.2. Worked find, i didn't
get any errors, after compiling i tested lavrec with my Pinnacle Dc10
Card, and it worked this time, i tested it several times to make sure it
wasn't a one time thing :-)
But neither glav nor lavplay work, i get SegFa

I have got a AVI file which is in DivX;-) format done with the ffmpeg
codec. Is there any way with the mjpegtools to bring this Video into
VCD-Format and split the output into two files each about 650 MB?

drivers on slackware 10.1.
Unfortunately i get this when i do "make" for the mjpegtools:

Since i have problems recording videos i thought recompiling the cvs
version of the mjpegtools with an older libquicktime version would help,
but with configure i get this output:
checking for libquicktime > 0.9.7... Requested 'libquicktime > 0.9.7'

with lavrec (1.9.0/CVS), now video records fine but no audio is recorded

The video is in really bad condition, and i have been playing around
with the mjpegtools to improve quality but nothing was really satisfying.

videos from the computer to the VTR via the Pinacle DC 10+ and
mjpegtools? No?

I can capture at full size with my DC10+ when I use the Quicktime-Format, I use this
cmd:
Lavrec -f q -g 768x576 (for PAL) -d1 -s -c 2 -a 16 -q 85 test.mov

I run the mjpegtools under SuSE 7.3 without any problems, but i didn't
use the rpm, i compiled from the source instead.
I had to use the following programs/packages to:
jpeg-sources available at http://www.ijg.org
jpeg-mmx-0.x.x.tar.gz
libmovtar-0.x.x.tar.gz
quicktime4linux-1.4-patched-2.tar.gz
It is on the second CD in /suse/d2/nasm.rpm, i use SuSE 7.3
Professional, i don't know if the personal edition also comes with nasm.
