I have been playing around a bit with the -m and -M option(s) but i am not sure what they are good for, if i use them i get some weird graphics within the video, bit square dots and the whole picture look like painted (some kind of "oilpaint"). So -m and -M doesn´t look like i can increase quality a bit with them - no? I always used yuvdenoise -s 4,5,5 -g 64,255,255 -t 3,3,3 for really old VHS source matterial. I got some good quality with that options. >>I need to do deinterlacing as it looks awful on the flat plasma screen >>without deinterlacing... The DVD player is a bit old you know :-) It really doesn´t look good, so i need to deinterlace. >>> Probably just as well since deinterlacing should be avoided in >>> most cases ;) >> >>In most but not with that video... unfortunately... > > > That does not make sense to me. If i play the video directly from the notebook via TV cable on the TV it looks good, but the DVD with this old player i have got doesn´t look good C, BF. >>Enjoy your holidays. > > > I am.
