Okay, I have this working, but it's very intermittent. While I like the
concept, it doesn't seem practical to use it right now: if I'm missing

I'm getting it to work pretty reliably, but it doesn't work all the time. Also,
I spent a lot of time calibrating the microphone. I do think it's worth using,
but it doesn't work 100% of the time. If you want better results, my best

Just to help, if you wish to paste a piece of text from a web page into Text
Edit and not have the formatting or links present, once you've pasted the text,
press command+shift+t to convert to text. All the formatting and links or
images will be gotten rid of and you have your plain text to save

For application shortcuts, just look in the menus (ctrl-option-m) and note the
ones you will use. Once you memorize those, go back and look for more. There
are a lot in some applications, but, just like Windows, you will eventually

When you say the automatic update, are you talking about Software Update? It
should already be set to alert you. Remember though, it isn't going to pop up
another window like it did before to alert you. It'll put a notification
inside your Notification Center.

Selection on a webpage worked with VO+return then VO+arrows to select then
VO+return to stop selecting. I have not tried it under Mountain Lion since the
shift and arrow keys work great for me, but it definitely worked under Lion.
