There used to be a command: vo+return. Basically, you'd hit it once to mark the beginning, then you'd move to the end and hit it again, and that would select all the text between the two markers.
I haven't gotten this reliably to work since OSX 10.5 no, that wasn't a typo, 10.5, not 6, Leopard. Does anyone know what the deal is with that? Chris.
