If I want to to just copy the text in a webpage in windows, then I will just select what I want and then paste it into notepad. If I do this in Text Edit then it inserts all the formatting of the page including links, making it impossible to just save as a text file.
OK, instead of pasting into Text Edit, is there maybe a paste special, or a paste without formatting option in the edit menu? As for your mp3 downloading issue, it sounds like Voiceover might not be on the link when you hit vo+shift+M. I know, it tells you it is, but in theory, it might not be. What happens if you was to hit vo+command+F5 to route your mouse to the mp3 download link, then do a control mouse click. Would that then bring up a download or save option in the context menu? If nothing else, try either Google Chrome, or Web Kit and see if either'll let you do it. Chris. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
