if it is music or other media excluding audiobooks, you can easily redownload
them from the iTunes store. That being said, I would just backup and migrate
that as well. You can also just copy the entire iTunes folder to an external
drive, then put it back on your hard drive later.

I've just turned on manual login , and restarted my MBP. VO started up right
away and announced I was in a security edit field. I will monitor this over
the weekend to see if this problem pops up for me.
I hesitate to say no but, its almost no. lol. It theoretically can be done
but, the conditions would have to be right and, you might need some 3rd party
app or, possibly jailbreaking your device. I hope I just didn't confuse the
heck out of you. :)

I have used a workaround for this by disabling the account that I want to
remove from the favorites.
This works for me situation but isn't of course useful for everyone who want to

I'm glad things are working for you guys. Apple rocks indeed, but I have to
say, we finns weren't so lucky. New Finnish Mikko voice is now made in such a
way, that it tries to read English correctly. Finnish and English have very
different phonetics, and so this causes some conflicts in Finn

VO M TWO times is the maximum you should have to hit it, but I see now by
experimentation that hitting it three times will just stall on Menu Extras,
which is like the Status menu in Snow Leopard. Spotlight comes up with the

just to add, you don't even need all of the 32GB drive either. You can creat a
8GB partition and make that the bootable drive.

OK, have not configured mail yet in Mountain Lion, but, I want to thank
publicly, all those beta testers, developers and of course Apple for making
Mountain Lion a joy to work with.
I without reading any guide, have installed
Still having the busy busy messages in Itunes and must wait.
eventually it stops but is acting the same as before I repaired permissions.
Open to other ideas to increase performance.

iTunes does it the worst out of every app, from what I see. Unfortunately,
it's something you have to just live with.
Perhaps when iTunes 11 is released, things will be better.
