I sent an I message to a mobile using their phone when in I message on the Mac. The steps I took to do it was as follows.
1. Find the contact within I message. 2. Press VO spacebar. I then for experiment sake, did vo down arrow. If you have the recepient's details filled in your contacts, you will see home tel, work tel, Messenger contact (which is not applicable) and their e-mail address. Just hit enter on what you want and you are ready to compose the Message and send. I hope this is useful to those who wish to do this on their macs. The only thing is how to delete a message from the Mac if you don't want to delete it from the I phone? Kawal.
