I have had two Mac Minis— one from 2012, and one from 2024–and neither of them
have chargers because they are not battery powered. They are not MagSafe. They
all use a standard two prong cheater cord to connect to wall power.

Try holding down the power button.
You should get into startup and recovery options.
Also be aware that after updating, sometimes you need to re enable voiceover to
auto start at log on.

You can just turn on VoiceOver with cmd f5 and follow the instructions.

As far as the speaker, at first when I got it, it was kind of crackely. Then
after a software pdate, the problem went away.
I also have installed windows 10 onn it. In windows, the speaker really

I don’t have experience on the 2018 Mac mini but i think the look really the
same likewise the older and the 2020 Mac mini.
The speaker on my Old mac mini is really good so i guess its much better on the
newer model.

I have a 2018 mac mini and the sound is just fine for speech. I usually
just put the sound all the way up but even with that it works fine. If
not, there is a headset jack whare you could plugin a cheep speaker if
need be, but I find the sound quility HTH.

better off adding some kind of speaker. I got a display that has the built in
speakers which Apple recommends.
