I am just now getting back into working with Mac OS, and, I’ve come across
something which I can’t remember how to deal with.
I must have done something to my Downloads folder, because, when I press
Command-O from the Home folder to get to Downloads, it doesn’t seem to actually
open
, eventually.
However, I just wanted to say hello.

Actually, if you have the installation files (like j14.xxx.exe) on the Mac, you
can copy and paste to the vm.
Just select the file in Mac OS, press command-c to copy. Then, go into the VM,
make sure you are in the desktop or another folder (like Downloads) and press

seems to confirm this. I'd rather wait a few mins longer and have a more

I would like to run a DOS screen reader through a serial port.
I can add a serial port in Fusion and it outputs to a file. However, I then
have to go into terminal and read the file to see what's in there.

I have created USB bootable OS X installs a number of times. Just for kicks, I
even install OS X on a USB thumb drive and it booted up.
The USB disk needs to be formatted as MAC OS Extended, Journaled, to make it
work.

Out of 319 GB, I still had 312 GB avail.
A typical install of Windows 7 takes up 2 or 3 times that much space.

Well, they finally did it!
Now, when downloading the BootCamp Windows Support software, they finally give
you a progress report.
Not a big thing, but, it's a tiny improvement.
Now to try VMWare Fusion 5 and see what it can do.
