Hi: I did some testing between Mavericks and Mountain lion and found that DiskMaker X works properly with VoiceOver under Mountain Lion. For some reason, it isn't working properly under Mavericks. This may be an issue to report to the accessibility team at Apple. There are probably other programs exhibiting this same behavior.
