It's speech is not the best, but, you don't have to rely on Serotek's
servers to be available.

If you install Windows on your Mac, using Bootcamp, then you can use System
Access to Go (SA to Go) for your screen reader. SA to go is free and quite
easy to learn. This is how I solved my problem.
