In case anyone else runs into this problem, what I ended up doing is using
VO-shift-period, i.e., VO-greater than.
My favourites bar contained four items: inbox, drafts, sent, and hide mailboxes
button. The only way I could get drag and drop to work was to drop the item
after the sent check bo

You don't have to highlight the link. All you need do is put the VO
cursor/mouse on a character in it and then bring up the shortcut menu with
VO-shift-m. Then choose "copy".

Hi,
you have to turn auto save off in system prefs/general. Otherwise, you have to
just close all windows and tabs before closing safari like you mentioned. You
don't have to open your homepage though. That will still open automatically.

I hoooked up my VR Stream to my Mac to transfer some files. I tried to eject
the unit after the copy was done but for some reason the VR Stream continued to
show up on the Drives list. I decided to reboot to see if the VR Stream
stoppped being listed but it is still there in the list even though

Hello Allison,
If you have to reinstall your Acapela voices, you'll probably have to change
the permissions on the Preferences folder at root level. I had to change them
all to be Read and Write so that I could activate the Acapela voices.
The next time I repaired permissions, they were changed
Dave, somebody reported on this list that having "live regions" checked in the
vo utility web navigation area caused them to have "safari busy" messages all
the time. At least, that is what I thought they said. Are you finding then,
that this is not the case?

I never look for accessibility in application preferences but I think I'm going
to have to start. The suggestion you made worked out fine. I unchecked the
tweet type and whala, it was just like it used to be. Does anyone know of any
other default apps that come on the Mac that has accessibility
Chadic in the "accessibility," section of the General pane in Syrinx'
preferences. I believe there are check boxes there which allow date and type of
tweet to be read or not.

Hi everyone,
I just tried to add voices and it worked. I'm downloading the Spanish voice
Monica since the AAcapela voices have gone on the blink. To add more voices
just follow these steps. I cannot take credit for this. I read this on this
list from someone.
1. Open System Preferences and tab
I do it a little differently now and I think easier. First of all, I have
created hotspots for the mailboxes table and messages table, that makes it
easier to find them. Secondly, when you are on a conversation, simply hit tab.
This will bring you into a content area and you can use vo+up and
