Ok, take this bit of text from Emacs: ;; This buffer is for notes you don't want to save, and for Lisp evaluation. ;; If you want to create a file, visit that file with C-x C-f, ;; then enter the text in that file's own buffer.
I tried reading this with most punctuation. I heard just the beginning o the lines. "Semicolon semicolon This" "Semicolon semicolon if" and perhaps part of a "y" "Semiicolon semicolon then e". Interestingly, I used Vo-shift-Z to save an audio snapshot, and when I found the speech snippet, I heard the whole line. Furthermore, when I revert to some punctuation, I hear a little more of the line. "This buffer is for notes you do" "If you want to create a file" "Then enter the text in that file's". I wonder why the truncation seems time-based? Time for another Apple email? I almost feel like I should become a developer just for that! :) On Jul 23, 2011, at 1:58 PM, Zachary Kline wrote: > Dear AUstin, > Can you provide a concrete example of what happens when a line is truncated? > It's easier to understand if I know what you're hearing, so to speak.
