Hi everyone, I just tried to add voices and it worked. I'm downloading the Spanish voice Monica since the AAcapela voices have gone on the blink. To add more voices just follow these steps. I cannot take credit for this. I read this on this list from someone.
1. Open System Preferences and tab to speech. HIt VO Space on it. 2. slect system voice and then go to customize from the popup menu. 3. Once you hit enter on customize you will be presented with a table with all the voices you can listen to and chose from. check the box for aditional voice options and you should be able to download as many voices as you wish. They sound a bit compressed though, but I'm really glad to see Apple inplimenting voices for speakers of other languages other than English. This way you don't have to shell out the #99 for Acapela voices. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
