Hello Allison, If you have to reinstall your Acapela voices, you'll probably have to change the permissions on the Preferences folder at root level. I had to change them all to be Read and Write so that I could activate the Acapela voices.
The next time I repaired permissions, they were changed back to their original settings, but it didn't matter since the voices were now installed and activated. My British, French and French Canadian voices are all working fine and I prefer them to the Nuance voices.
