I wrote the client. This may or may not cause trouble, I haven't
tried. It should not be difficult to modify the lyxrc function in
LyX::Client to reflect these changes.

It seems that you are missing support for PostScript in fig2dev. What
is your version of fig2dev? What happens if you try to run it from the
command line (e.g. fig2dev -L eps myfile.fig > myfile.eps)?
Is postscript generally working on your system? (e.g., can you see the

filenames is /, the
space is a separator for the shell (by default) and for everything
else that wants it to be a separator, but is perfectly allowed in
filenames.
Moreover, we have directories exported to Windows clients and it's
difficult to perusade everyone not to have spaces in file

If you put \vspace{-1cm} (marked as TeX) instead of the blank you also

You have to explicitely insert \citet{} or \citep{} commands marked as red

Hi all,
the simplest way I found to word-count documents is to export to ascii (to
get read of latex non-words) and using then wc (standard unix utility).
This is fairly quick, but I welcome better suggestion (although I think
the minimal effort is one command within lyx + one outside lyx).
