The newest (5-August-2003) version of LyX on Aqua at

easier (down to a couple of clicks now) and operation more reliable.
The bundle also includes latex-p

Hi, all,
I'm new to LyX and found the hyperlink function fascinating
but puzzling. I've read through the archive but didn't find the
answer I need. Here is my problem:
I try to put in my pdf notes (generated by LyX) some hyperlinks
to other pdf papers in the same directory. So I just use

Hello,
I'm probably missing something, but what is wrong with the \boxed{}
command in AMS? In the QT version you even see the box in LyX.

That's not true, all the time we (especially you) spent with defining

Hi,
thanks for your help. I solved the problem quite differently, which
still required a lot of "tuning" of the document afterwards. I had a
pdf-file of my paper and simply copied and pasted the text into Word.
The only problem I had to solve concerned the german Umlaute, but even
that worked

Just another note of appreciation for the Aqua port of LyX--it's a
great program, but the XForms version is quite ugly.
Anyway, one of the really useful features in Adobe FrameMaker is the

I run RedHat 9, which has tetex 1.0.7. I hear that the newer version of
pdftex that is packaged with tetex 2 is better, but I'm hesitant to
upgrade tetex for fear that lyx will not work the same. Can anybody who
has installed tetex 2 on a RedHat system tell me if there are problems?

Many of my users currently use lyx 1.2.3 on their Solaris/SPARC machines

I downloaded lyx 1.3.2, compiled it myself (with xforms), everything works
