Just another note of appreciation for the Aqua port of LyX--it's a great program, but the XForms version is quite ugly.

Anyway, one of the really useful features in Adobe FrameMaker is the paragraph and character catalog sub-windows. Rather than scrolling down to select the style from the main window, you can immediately click the style you want from a separate window containing the list of all available styles for the template you're using. These windows can be toggled on/off. It's simple, but it saves a lot of time. I find myself missing this feature when I work in LyX, and would be very happy if this feature were considered for future versions.
