Hi folks,

This might seem like an odd question, but having just read the university
style guide for my thesis, they have suggested that wherever possible I
should place graphics and diagrams as large as possible on the left page
(that would be the even numbered pages). I can go through LyX manually
and make these changes the hard way, but it kind of defies the whole
point in using a hardcore typesetting program. Is there some setting or
ERT I can use to place all graphics on the left side? I found a hard to
understand tex document about putting the picture/float on one side, and
the annotation on the other, but that requires doing each one manually
anyway, and besides which I need the graphics and annotation on the left,
and the regular text uninterrupted on the right (and left, if there are
no graphics there).

Thanks for your help.
Tim
