Hi John,
Postfix isn't the problem. There is a configuration error somewhere, and I
bet its on your MUA. EMail me off list if you want some debugging steps.

Hi Brock,
I have something just like that set up for my own system, using a TVS-100.
The problem is that there IS NO answer supervision. The TVS just waits a few
seconds, then puts the call through, assuming that they really did pick up and
answer. My delay is only 10 seconds though. Not sure

I had this happen one time.. My TVS even stopped working correctly - answered
the line, played some jibberish, then hung up. A day later (when I was just
about to go take it apart), it started working, but the messages were out of

Email the Sipura support address. Unfortunately, they didn't listen to me
when I told them about a reproducible bug in how one of their products handled
answer supervision when set for reverse polarity, probably because most people
would never have used that functionality. Its a pity. I haven't

I typically do this with streaming audio via internet. A decent quality feed

Yeah, that's the thing with the Internet - there are so many variables!
The one thing that was the straw that broke the camel's back was that their

Hey Gang,
Dealing with a TVS50, and I've forgotten a couple things since messing with
these a few years back.
1. Have KXTD KSU connected to TVS50, set to answer all incoming calls
immediately. (DIL to 165). I tried using the WCID command to remove answer
delay, but it doesn't seem to want to

OOps, better qualify that a bit better!
In the context of a KX-TD816 or KX-TD1232, is there a way to force 911 calls

I've got a KX-TD816 that does that... Eventually it locks up, so I know its a
logic board. Not sure if its the CPU or the line interface part. It was very
frustrating to figure out, and I just ended up swapping it out with another KSU.

I'm pretty sure you can use -7 roms in -2 units and higher.
I thought I remember Jim saying that he hears noise on the PBX phones that is
not present on the CO lines when testing with a buttset, which still indicates
a KSU problem.
