If your talking about the 2S I really don't think this thing called pitch
sensitivity is a big thing or that it even exists. 6399U took getting
used to but that's pretty much it..---Good Luck!!

I don't even use that much---however most of it is leaks not
burning. After every flight I get out the rag and wipe it down. Guess
thats normal.

The temp thing sounds normal, especially w/all the ground wk. On an 85
deg day my oil temps run 215-220 in cruise flight. Just be sure u have a
good ram air sys into the oil cooler.-- Congrats!!

Every year at this time I have a problem with hard starting and rough
running, today it was 50 deg's. The carb heat is on, but after start up
it seems like it's flooding or missing. The engine is of 1981 vintage (
2100 Revmaster ) that was never run since I installed it 4 yrs ago, It
still has t
Ok thanks Brian-Think I'll order a leaner needle as well.

Thanks AlEverything points to being to rich in my
mind also. I did run the needle in this summer to lean it out but went a
little to far as I had to make 2 dead stick landings after I pullled the
throttle all the way back to idle, after I backed it out 1/2 turn that
took care of
I've never used it at any other time, but then again,

I used a piece of vinyl siding cut into strips, the went to Grainger and
got a roll of velcro which I attached to the wing and vinyl strip. This
is thicker in appearance than a strip of aluminum but, no screws and it
peels right off. I've used this system for 4 yrs now w/no problems. Try

Glassing the sides and bottom is optional, I chose to do it using a very
light cloth that was very sheer, the weight gain was negligible, make
sure u sand all excess epoxy off. I do recommend this as it really seals
the wood. -Good Luck.

It's still on as per Judy Sparks. I was planning on flying down today but
the funk prevented that.

Kevin---I too have a 2100 revmaster but I use a 54X50 culver prop,
the reason for this posting is that a 42" pitch may be a little low for a
good cruise prop. I have no problem maintaining 3200 rpm in cruise flight
and 3400 full throttle. My climb is decent as well.

I gotta tell U, when I had my signoff done I could have had a lawn mower
blade on the front of 6399U and I don't think it really would have
mattered. All inspectors operate differently I
guess.-GOOD LUCK

I believe that's the weekend for the Virginia EAA Fly In as well in
Petersburg. (PTB). After looking at the projected path of this hurricane
it will be affecting the weather in this area (PTB)on fri and possibly
sat.

I've got the more expensive Cleveland brake setup and I can't hold mine
at full throttle either. These brakes are made for go karts that weigh
100lbs or so, not airplanes that gross in excess of 1000lbs. But your
correct when you spoke about not pushing to hard as that load goes to the
rudder via
