Prior to finding a hanger at the Myerstown Airport in Pa I had to trailer
to the Reading Airport everytime I wanted to fly. I built a trailer 8X16
with wing pockets. The trailer is a single axle and the bed tilts to
facilitate loading, I installed a boat winch to pull 6399U onto the
trailer. I ONLY tie the the airplane down via the tires only. Between the
trailer suspension and the landing gear there is no undo shock to the
aircraft. One thing that needs to be done though-----------secure the
elevator.
