The WAFs are properly aligned with the spar on both sides.
Also, everything is already glassed.
Much easier to keep the spar hole pattern unchanged, vs cut up and redo the

wings not lining up with the holes on the fuselage...
My presently 'considered' solution, is to remove the wing-WAFs
KR2S have a
picture of their nose gear mount that I can use as a reference? Can you
send it to me at <mailto:davesmccauley at comcast.net>

The address of a website with a picture would work as well.
Thanks,

So, I just re-did my elevator, and I have some small depressions in the
skin
I've sanded down what I can, but some are too low to sand out
What do you guys use for filling/fairing compound, for this sort of thing?
I have one BRS equipped plane - a Fisher ultralight
At least with that install, if I ever have to 'pull it' the BRS will likely
destroy the airframe in the process of getting me down safely...
The flip side is that if your flying area is devoid of survivable emergency
spots, it beats the hell
Thanks Larry...
Yes, my plane is hangared. WA is the land of the '9-months-rain'...

Simply put, my effort to complete my KR is progressing along nicely...
I'm completing someone else's project here, and one of the terrible,
terrible things that was done is the plane was painted with latex house
paint. Said paint is now peeling/cracking off, and has to go... Now, I've
figured out
Glad you're OK...
Seems like engine guts hate you though

If it is Diehl gear, the mains will be composite & bolted to 2 big aluminum
castings that attach to the spar.
If it is Grove gear, the mains will be metal 'spring' legs like a Cessna.
If it is Robinson-Rand gear, it will have these ginormous metal castings &
will retract backwards into the wing.
Can you measure by weight? Always seems more precise than volume...

Size? You'd need to measure how far down the piston goes (dowel thru spark
plug hole?) and then pull a cylinder and measure its diameter.
Adding a starter depends on how your engine was mounted. If it already has
the diehl accessory case, all you have to do is remove the starter block
off plate an
I don't have a schematic, I do have a spare adapter that breaks it out to
standard ga headset plugs and a PTT phono jack.
20 bucks and its yours. You can then use a commercial PTT or wire your own
with a pushbutton switch, lamp cord or speaker wire and phono plug

You will punch through and a block will crush foam...
Iirc w&b is best done with 3 scales, one under each wheel... You can then
calculate cg from the weight diff

How much for the wings?
