If you use LILO, press CTRL+X at the boot time and type linux single.
Then, type passwd and type a new password in the feild. If you
disabled linux single or if you use GRUB, I have no solution.

Refernce for the functions of dl Library, like dlopen,

Can anyone please tell me how to make a bootloader in LINUX in C. I want to make my own boot loader like LILO. Also can anybody also tell me how to modify the image of LILO graphical provided with Red Hat 7.1.

Hi sudeesh,
Supply an option -t vfat along with the mount command , if the
floppy is a windoze.../MSDOG disk
i.e. $ mount /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy -t vfat

he exact idea here what do you mean by 2 lines.
But to be on the safer side move your /etc/printconf to /etc/printconf.old
and
run printconf-gui.

I have recently installed Suse 7.3 on Pentium 3 m/c
wiht a dual boot of Windows NT.
I am on a LAN run on NT servers. I am able to mount
other shares using Samba.
I want to access the printer of which i have the IP
address. Its an HP LaserJet 8150. Though I have
configured a remote printer in L
