The "ArchiveBlockMax" option has been deprecated since 0.93, but unlike
the "ArchiveMaxFileSize" and "ArchiveMaxFiles", no replacement option
exist.
I'd like to know if there's a specific reason to that.

By increase I meant something more significant, like a factor of ten
increase.
Once you get it working, you can start decreasing to find out how much
it really needs.

I'm trying to figure out what is causing, in my opinion, abnormal memory
usage when clam is running. I started clamdtop and shortly thereafter it
crashed with the below:
Connecting to: /var/lib/clamav/clamd.socket
Abnormal program termination: Failed to reconnect to clamd after

yesterday /tmp directory is full of clamav folders, each containing files like
this:
