And I will add that, if you don't skip stop, but limit leg braking to
backpressure, then IME, a standard fw hub sans any lockring, loctite, or
other  securing device or substance, is also quite fine. I have never, ever,
*ever* un-spun a fixed cog, lacking a lockring reverse or standard threaded,
or loctite blue, red or what have you. Take a charge or two up a steep hill
with your newly installed fixed cog (grease the cog threads first) and you
will get that bastard so tightly onto the hub that it will take some almost
heroic effort to remove it from the hub.
