Hey John, Thanks for the suggestions. It definitely is a gmail and Mavericks issue as I have removed gmail and then reinstalled it in to the Mac Mail. When gmail is removed mac mail works fine. My issue is I can't switch from gmail to another mail provider as I have people constantly contacting em through gmail. So not sure what to do as I have heard from several people that doing a clean install did not fix their gmail problem with mac mail. Considering this problem doesn't happen every day tells me that it is a gmail and Apple Mavericks compatability issue. What angers me to no end is I held off upgrading to Mavericks until Apple claimed they fixed this issue in December so that is why I am so angry as the days when Mac Mail and gmail don't cooperate I can't get a thing done. I apologize for any misspelled words as mail is pausing so much as I type this with busy busy messages. And like I said everything worked fine yesterday.
