Yesterday everything worked fine, so today if I have mail open I can't use any other programs on my computer or mail causes VoiceOver to be so choppy you can't understand a thing. Switching from gmail is not an option as I have years of mail messages archived, and everything worked fine on Mountain Lion. I don't want to go back to Mountain Lion as I need to use Numbers for work and Numbers had gotten unusable under Mountain Lion. What really pisses me off is some days the computer works fine, and the next without being shut off or put to sleep it is unusable. Even a restart doesn't fix the problems. Since starting to write this message, I have been interrupted five times with busy busy errors. I have spoken to Apple Accessibility and they know nothing. Not sure how in the world Apple could have released Mavericks with these kinds of bugs and then claimed they fixed everything. Just very frustrating. I have been a long time Apple boy and suggesting them to everyone but will never again suggest a Mac to anyone, as they used to be consistent and now are as unreliable as a PC. Sorry just had to vent. And yes, I have run disk repairs and still no fix. Who knows maybe tomorrow the computer will actually work, but that doesn't help me get the assignment done that I need to get done today.
