Good morning Thank you for the great advice! I am truly grateful for the advice and the effort many have put into their build logs and websites. I am a little bit of an analytical thinker so please excuse the plethora of questions I have at times.
I am not a fan of fuel in the cockpit so not that you have broadened by my understanding; I will re-analyse the stub tank ideas and looking to add wing tanks too but smaller all of this with constant cognisense of the CG. The wing tanks are also a decent idea I will be exploring to greater detail! Maybe header wing stub tanks for each wing tank? Lots to think amount about and sketch before I put any tool in hand! I am going to be using a 2187cc turbo VW and the engine mounts came already installed and from what I have seen & read they appear pretty standard so may need to investigate moving the VW forward as suggested. There is second set of engine mounts in the box of parts that came with the KR-2 so I guess I'll be digging it out and having a look it today :) Back to the actual work of designing and finishing my seats. Thanx Mark for your page on your seats! - solved my base which I am busy doing ... nextto find a decent ergonomic back design :) Blessed Christmas to you all!
