Is there a VNC Newsgroup? I have not been able to find one. While the
mailing list is ok, there is more than sufficient interest in this product
to justify is own newsgroup. Comments?

My only comment is this:
Mailing lists come to you. You have to go get newsgroup messages.
I'd prefer mailing lists because if you have Internet access, you have
email. You might not necessarily be able to get to news groups.

Surely you have a "reply to all" option? Use that, delete the list's address

Where can i get such a VNC server with scaling extension ?

Seeing several postings regarding local printing when connected via VNC, I've decided
to post the solution that I found for this situation.
In particular, this is for a Solaris VNC server session, sending a postscript printjob
to a local Windows printer which is running the VNC viewer.

Sounds good - I haven't tried it yet since I'm not using MacOS X on a

No, no, discussion is good along the lines of "what is better A or B", "well I

It's the clarifications and "try this, if it doesn't work, try that" that the

Yes. The entire CoreGraphics framework is available to both the Cocoa and
Carbon environments. I'm not sure how well it will fit into the existing Mac
VNC server, especially since CoreGraphics isn't available under Mac OS <= 9.
It probably makes more sense to port part of the Xvnc server going thr

How about running the DOS viewer on the WFW3.11 machine to view one of the
Win98 machines? Then one monitor, mouse and keyboard could run btwo

Hi,
It's included with PalmVNC - see "Installation" in the manual. You can apply
the extensions to 3.3.3r7, and it will downgrade the server to 3.3.3r2
automatically.
Hope this helps,

I haven't bothered to look into it but the vnc-list mail format confuses MS
