I'm a bit surprised by this, as I presume I am not the only one who run
a Ubuntu *release* on my production systems, and not a beta version. I
realize this is not a security or otherwise crucial issue, but
Well - perhaps we are talking about two different problems, but I am not
using WPA at all, so there is clearly a problem here that is independent
of WPA. This occurs in 11b mode (or perhaps against 11b-only access

I am unable to make lvm mirroring work with Feisty or Edgy.
Any attempts to use -m1 with 'lvcreate' or 'lvchange' results in a

It couldn't be that you have a default route on interface eth0, and the
link-local address assigned to eth0:avahi or something? What does your
routing table look like? (output from 'route') What are your configured
interfaces (output from 'ifconfig')

I'm not sure this is the same issue, but it seems to be similar.
I generally put my laptop to sleep (echo mem > /sys/power/state) when
transporting it between home and work. But when switching networks - or
perhaps when a lease has expired? - it fails to bring interfaces back
